The construction industry has a high level of occupational accident risk, particularly in high-rise building projects; therefore, the implementation of an Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) is a crucial aspect of risk control. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of OSHMS implementation in controlling work-related risks in a five-story hospital construction project. The research employed a descriptive method with both qualitative and quantitative approaches, conducted through field observations, interviews, and questionnaire distribution to project workers. Data analysis was performed using the Relative Importance Index (RII) to assess the level of implementation and effectiveness of OSHMS. The results indicate that OSHMS implementation in the project is categorized as good, particularly in terms of occupational safety policies, the use of personal protective equipment, and risk control measures. However, several obstacles were identified, including worker non-compliance and limited on-site supervision. In conclusion, the implementation of OSHMS has a positive impact on reducing the potential risk of workplace accidents; therefore, continuous improvement through enhanced supervision, training, and commitment from all project stakeholders is required
