Foundation work is a critical stage in high-rise building construction as it directly affects structural stability, project cost, and construction duration. In the construction of a five-story Regional General Hospital located in an area with soft soil conditions and a high groundwater level, the selection of an appropriate deep foundation system is essential. This study aims to analyze and compare the cost efficiency and construction duration of driven pile and bored pile foundations applied to the RSUD five-story building project. The research employs a descriptive-comparative method with a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data obtained from project progress reports for driven piles and secondary data derived from standard unit price analysis, technical literature, and relevant case studies for bored piles. Cost and duration analyses were conducted to evaluate the performance of each foundation type. The results indicate that bored pile foundations have a unit cost approximately 22.46% higher than driven pile foundations, while achieving a construction duration that is about 7.14% shorter. These findings indicate that driven pile foundations are more cost-efficient, whereas bored pile foundations offer a slight advantage in construction time
