Abstract

Sustainable availability of clean water is a basic community need that must be supported by reliable and safe infrastructure. One of the important components in the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) is a reservoir tower that serves as a water reservoir as well as a pressure regulator in the distribution network. This study aims to analyze the performance of the reservoir tower structure with a capacity of 15.52 m3 in the construction of SPAM Jatiwangi village, Pagerbarang District, Tegal Regency. The analysis was carried out by theoretical calculation methods and numerical modeling using SAP2000 software. The analyzed loads include dead load, live load, water load (hydrostatic pressure), wind load, and earthquake load in accordance with SNI 1727:2020, SNI 1726:2019, and SNI 2847:2019. The analysis showed that all structural elements were in safe condition, with lateral deviations and internal forces still below the standard clearance limits. Thus, the reservoir tower structure is declared stable, safe, and feasible to be used to support the sustainability of clean water services for the community
