Abstract

Delay in the progress of work is one of the main problems in construction projects because it has a direct impact on the implementation time, cost, and quality of work. This study analyzes the factors that cause delays in the construction of Weaving warehouse and Inspect Folding room based on the results of field observations, worker interviews, and S curve analysis. The results showed that in the 24th week of the new realization progress reached 68.01% of the total plan 100%, resulting in a deviation of -31.99%. Factors causing delays include labor shortages, extreme weather, additional work in other buildings, funding constraints due to fire disasters, as well as delays in the delivery of materials due to repairs to the National Pantura road. Mitigation efforts were carried out through Change Control Order (CCO) 1 and Project Change Management (PCM), which resulted in the extension of the project until the end of December. This study confirms the importance of time management, coordination between parties, and control of resources in preventing delays in construction projects
