Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the method of implementation of the construction of the beam cover and identify technical constraints on toll road projects. The method used is descriptive analytical case studies with quantitative and qualitative approaches through direct field observation and laboratory testing. The results showed that the construction of the covering Beams was completed through seven integrated technical stages that successfully united the piles into a monolith retaining wall structure. Quality control proved the feasibility of the material with subgrade density reached 18.50% - 19.20%, fresh concrete viscosity value of 11.80 cm, and compressive strength of concrete aged 28 days reached 41.08 MPa. Soil erosion constraints in critical areas are overcome through a combination of widening the slope angle and the installation of a bamboo pile system as a micro-pillar retaining soil, while seepage of seawater is handled by dewatering method. The results of this study are very relevant as a tested technical reference to improve the stability of sea levees and retention ponds in coastal areas
