Abstract

Companies engaged in construction, have many types of materials and equipment in the warehouse depending on the project being worked on. The problem faced is that the recording of material inventory is still done manually by using a letter of request, then after it is recorded inputted into Microsoft Excel, it causes vulnerable to data collection errors,which will result in differences between the data and the actual stock.The purpose of this research is to produce a system that can accelerate the process of recording material stocks in the warehouse, and can produce various material inventory reports that can control the availability of material inventory in the project warehouse. The method used is a Perpetual Inventory System that is material management is done by controlling the stock of material inventory directly per periodic and continuously updating the stock of each incoming and outgoing material. The existence of this system will help the administration and warehouse to accelerate various reports of material inventory stock control that is fast, accurate and thorough and can improve the performance of officers in presenting reports
